February Rain

My house might float away.

My Noisy Refrigerator

My refrigerator is very noisy.

You can hear what it sounds like here.

Today I noticed that our monkeys were being really sweet with each other and I thought I would share it with you all.

I’ve been sick all day and I’ve been playing around on one of my new favorite websites, it’s called Buddyhead.com and it’s really cool! Go check it out right now!

I’ve also been watching TMZ and sleeping.

In other news, I was interviewed by Exiled in Eugene about Blazer Smith yesterday!

So, that’s pretty exciting…

What’s new with you?

It Ain’t Me Babe by Bob Dylan

One of these days I’m going to learn to play Just Like A Woman.

Urge by Daniel Johnston

Recorded on February the 13th 2011 at Cozmic Pizza in Eugene Oregon.

Thanks for listening.

Lady Gaga and Youtube

I like Lady Gaga… So much so that I went and saw her live in Portland.

You can read about that adventure here.

Thanks for listening.

The Lonely Hearts Show

On Sunday night I played Cozmic Pizza for the fifth time.

Hansa El Din opened the night!

Hansa El Din is a very good friend of mine and many of you may know that we played together in MisGuided Children.

His set was really cool! Hansa is a very skilled musician and he kind of blew my mind at times with his guitar playing.

After Hansa played for about forty five minutes I took to the stage and we played “Ice Cream” and “Feb The 14th”.

Then we played “Paparazzi” by Lady Gaga.

Hansa took a break and I played “Urge” by Daniel Johnston.

I also played “After All” and “Song to The Siren”.

Then I asked Hansa back up to the stage and we played “Woman in Paisley”.

After that we played “MJ” followed by an improvisational jam.

Then we played another song that we had never played together.

“Nothing” is what I think I will call it.

Then we played “One More Cup Of Coffee”.

Hansa then played his untitled love song and I attempted to sing along in parts.

We ended the night with “Valentines Day” by Will Oldham.

It was a really fun show! After we got done I turned to Hans and told him that I thought that we should play together all the time.

He will be joining me for my set at the Spectacular Spring Show coming up on March 24th at Luckey’s Cigar Club!

Open Mic #50

February Ninth Two Thousand Eleven, I was at Mulligan’s Open Mic.

This is a picture of Amblin getting the “stage” ready.

Heart & Soul“, “Nothing”, “Invisible Movement” (John Frusciante), “Home” & “It Ain’t Me Babe” (Bob Dylan) were the songs I played.

Anthony Clark was there.

Bruce Henry was there and Cindy Ingram backed him up with her wash board.

There were lots of other people there too but I didn’t take any pictures of them.

What’s your favorite entry so far? I’ve been thinking about how long I’m going to continue my open mic blog.

Do you think it should be on going or shall I shoot for something like 200? Or 500?

What do you think? Please leave a comment or you prefer hit me up on Facebook.

Blogging is more fun with reader participation.

Thanks for listening.

Another Saturday

Today I sat in my room and drew a picture.

I drank some tea and took a few photographs.

I posted some things to my Ebay.

Now I think I might play my Keyboard for a while.

It’s been a nice day.

Thanks for listening.
